Storm in a Teacup opens today at the Claremont Quarter. It’s upstairs, across from the Boost Juice. Things are still getting sorted out in there but it’s open for trading. It’s a small space, filled with many beautiful and exciting things.
The fit out of the store has been designed by Rosanne. She’s done some fabulous things with textures and patterns and has used pink carpet (love) and pressed tin outside (super love).
This poster is getting hung in a beautiful gold vintage frame out the front. Rosanne wanted cross-stitch but due to the time frame we couldn’t source it (if anyone knows any jet-powered-cross stitchers please let me know, I’ll keep their details for next time).
As an alternative I recreated a cross stitch effect in illustrator using patterned fills – which does the job nicely.

I’ve been very lucky to work with the guys from Kel’s Menswear to design and develop the identity for their new menswear store in Centro Warwick.
The store is full of brand new, fabulous stock so it’s definitely worth popping in there and checking it out!!
It was a really interesting project (and one I’m still working on).
Items sourced and produced include:
I’m still sourcing the bags and some more large format signage. It’ll be an ongoing project so I’ll keep you updated.

Are you the type like me that hates paperwork and doesn’t have enough time to get everything done?
Lucky there are people like Denise from Soho4 in the world. She offers all kinds of services to make running your business easier.

Ashlie’s wedding invites are printed and delivered. They have been getting an excellent reaction to those lucky enough to be on the guest list!
My client is happy so I am happy!
For this job we decided on linen ivory board stock. It’s got a fabulous fabric texture and fits well with the “handcrafty” nature of Ash’s wedding.
They are 14.5cm squares which fit perfectly into their beautiful gold metallic envelopes. Ash joined them together with a cute cloud paperclip and off they went!
Unlike the “save the date” cards I did for her earlier in the year (click here to see), they required no handcutting or scoring. High 5!
